Nestled in the heart of Scotland, Edinburgh is a city with a rich history and an even richer culture. From its towering castle to its quaint Old Town, there’s no shortage of things to see and do in Edinburgh.
The most “touristy” thing to do is visit Edinburgh Castle. Dating back to the 12th century, it’s been a pivotal site in Scottish history, serving as a royal residence and a military fortress. With its exhibits and museums, you could spend your entire day touring it. Don’t miss the Scottish Crown Jewels and the Stone of Destiny. The panoramic views over Edinburgh are a bonus, offering a unique perspective of the city’s layout and beauty.
